    Affiliation: Dr Hugh Calkins is the Nicholas J. Fortuin M.D. Professor of Cardiology and Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also is the Director of the Clinical Electrophysiology Laboratory, the Atrial Fibrillation Center, the Arrhythmia Service, and the Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia Program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.     Affiliation: Dr. John Clark from Akron Children’s Hospital is an Associate Professor of Medicine at North Eastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He is a pediatric cardiac electrophysiologist and the director of the pediatric arrhythmia center at Akron Children’s Hospital. He has more than 15 years of work experience in pediatric electrophysiology. Dr. Clark is among the first in the world to perform a fluoroless ablation and he continues to advocate for a zero fluoroscopy approach, having completed more than 500 pediatric ablations without the use of fluoroscopy. His research interests encompass innovative advances and strategies related to zero fluoroscopy ablations including procedures in complex congenital heart patients and pregnancy.

    Affiliation: Professor Schlaich is a renal physician and an ESH accredited hypertension specialist with a strong background in clinical research. His main scientific interests focus on pathophysiologic aspects of hypertension including the contribution of the sympathetic nervous system, the L-arginine/nitric oxide pathway, their interaction, and the involvement of the kidneys.     Affiliation: Dr. Scheinman graduated from Johns Hopkins in 1956 and from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1960. He is currently Professor of Medicine at UCSF and Chief of the Genetic Arrhythmia unit. His research interests include studies on mechanisms and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias as well as discovery of novel genes for genetic arrhythmia syndromes.
